Alberta Bolt Makers Ltd. has been producing bolts and anchors since 1972. We serve the heavy-duty construction industry by custom manufacturing the kinds of bolts and anchors that the industry needs to do its job. Much of our work is in 3/4” to 1” diameter steels, but our technicians work well with all diameters, from 1/4” to 4”.
We’re Bigger than We Seem!
We currently serve 450 regular customers. Our bolts and anchors are used in structures around the world, and yet most of our customers are within spitting distance of Calgary. We help anchor bridges, parkades, sign pylons and cool attractions like the 70-foot-high dinosaur in Drumheller, parts of Disneyland® and the giant water slides in Bolivia. And yes, our bolts anchor some of Alberta’s largest plant complexes too!

We take pride in giving you the best possible turnaround time. We begin by doing everything we can to get your order correct. We use one of the smartest ordering systems in the business. It’s called the W.W.S.I.E.W.Y.W. ordering system, and it stands for “What we see is exactly what you want.”
You use one of our template sheets . You show us the exact inside measurements you need. And that’s what we will make for you. We get it right the first time, and you get it as close to “right away” as we can make it.
We’re Stainless Steel Specialists!
Stainless steel is becoming the material of choice for environmental and corrosion reasons, so we work well with both 304 and 316 stainless steel, and we do so in diameters from 1/4” to 3”. Our stainless steel product lines include U-bolts and special-hooked bolts.
